In conjunction with the Pink October which is known as International Breast Cancer Awareness month, Neubodi has launched "DONATE, SUPPORT, RECYCLE" Bra Drive campaign until 5 November.

The purpose of this campaign is to help raise RM100,000 for breast cancer welfare association's hospital angle program. To show your support, you can donate your old bras at any of Neubodi stores nationwide.

During the event, there is a Pink Bras Bank for drop off unwanted bras. If you have miss out you can still visit Neubodi outlets nationwide for showing your support.

The bras that not suited for donation will let Life Line Clothing to convert raw materials of bras (spandex, nylon, metal wire, plastics) into reusable solid fuel (commonly used to power industrial boilers and generators).

Not only for donation, Neubodi Bra Drive campaign is also to promote breast cancer awareness. According to the National Cancer Institute Malaysia, about 5,000 Malaysian women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, and nearly half of those are under 50-years of age.

However, do you know that it actually affects men as well?
As breast cancer being "gender blind", Neubodi wish to use this opportunity to let public know that there are 1 out 1,000 men diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Malaysia.

During the official launch event, there are many celebrities attended including Amber Chia, Agnes Wang, Carrie Lee, Jan Chin, and Lavin Seow, and public figures such as Puan Sri Dato’ Akmal who is also the Patron for Non-Communicable diseases, Alvin Lim - Malaysia’s first national paralympic handcyclist and two-time gold medallist and fashion designer Key Ng.
